Should I beware Villa Group Scams?

  1. We looked into canceling our Villa del Palmar timeshare when we first bought it a few years ago because when we got home, everyone told us that timeshares were all scams. The timeshare cancellation companies are certainly the true scammers. They were going to charge us a huge sum to cancel the contract even though we were within the cooling off period (which doesn’t cost anything!!!). Luckily, I called members services for Villa del Palmar and we got some great advice about how to use our membership and we decided to give it a go. We are so glad we did. I can’t tell you. When we retire, we might even upgrade so we can use it even more.
